Toulon

The city of Toulon is strongly marked by its maritime vocation. It lays in the heart of a superb natural bay, known as 'Rade of Toulon', surrounded by wooden hills and mountains topped by fortifications. Toulon is a major military harbour enhanced by 2000 years of naval history, but the bay doesn't restrict itself to the Arsenal.

In the middle of the Provence, Toulon lays there as an ideal spot from where walks and hikes give you an enchanting view over the area. The 860 miles of coats offers you the best of the Mediterranean: from big sandy beaches to small tree-lined coves, fire red hills and deep blue sea.
It is a symphony of colors.
